BYD grabs attention once again by showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of its stunning Yangwang U9 in a dramatic announcement that has gone viral among car enthusiasts and competitors worldwide!

The advertisement highlights the impressive performance of the BYD Yangwang U9, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.36 seconds, reaching a top speed of 309 km/h.

During the demonstration, the car overcame several obstacles, leaping 6 meters through the air at a speed of 120 km/h over a 2.5-meter-wide pothole. It then jumped again over a 4-meter stretch of metal spikes and finally glided over colored chalk strips. Notably, all these jumps were executed using autonomous driving technology.

The U9 is equipped with BYD's advanced DiSus X system, which actively controls the position of all wheels to propel the car into the air at high speeds. This system also enables the vehicle to drive with only three wheels touching the ground. The U9 features four electric motors with a combined output of 960 kW and 1680 Nm of torque.

BYD Yangwang unveiled the U9 sports car in 2023, with deliveries commencing last year in 2024. The vehicle starts at $229,000, though many countries, particularly in the United States and Europe, have imposed restrictions or limited its import.
