At the pre-scheduled date, Toyota officially unveils the new Camry for the year 2025. It has been announced that all versions of the Toyota Camry 2025 are now available as standard with a hybrid system, including LE, SE, XLE, and XSE, with the option to choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive (AWD).
Despite the global decline in demand for sedans and the rise in SUV popularity, Toyota continues to defy this trend by selling around 300,000 Camry cars annually. These cars cater to various customer segments, from families and Uber drivers to those seeking a reliable and economical mode of transportation. Now, everyone can enjoy the new Camry for 2025.
Mechanically
The Camry 2025 Hybrid relies on an advanced system that combines a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with electric motors. The front-wheel-drive comes with two electric motors, providing a total power output of 225 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive variant adds a third electric motor on the rear axle, bringing the total power to 232 horsepower. The system utilizes an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT).
It's worth noting that Toyota has not introduced a V6 engine or TRD versions for the Camry 2025. Nevertheless, the ninth generation of the Camry brings substantial updates, relying on the same TNGA-K platform as the previous generation, with a redesigned suspension system for improved responsiveness and comfort during driving.
In terms of exterior design
the Camry 2025 maintains a similar appearance to the eighth generation, featuring a large front grille and slim LED headlights. The car comes in several new color options, including Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal, in addition to the existing color choices.

The vehicle provides a range of advanced technologies, such as a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and an 8-inch central screen for entertainment and information systems. In the XLE and XSE trims, you'll find 12.3-inch screens that support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, accompanied by a wireless phone charger. Additionally, the XLE and XSE models are equipped with a 10-inch vertical head-up display (HUD) and a JBL sound system featuring nine speakers.
The XLE trim offers an option with fine Dinamica fiber, while the XLE and XSE models have optional heated and ventilated seats. These enhancements also include laminated sound-insulating glass for the front windows to reduce wind noise in the cabin.
In terms of safety, all Camry 2025 models come equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, including features like pre-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, road sign assistance, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear traffic alert. The XLE and XSE trims offer an optional Premium Plus package, adding features such as traffic jam assist, front traffic alert, lane change assist, a panoramic view display, and automatic front and rear parking assist.
As of now, the expected prices for the new Toyota Camry 2025 have not been announced.
