During a live broadcast held at the Grenadier Café in London, the emerging British car company INEOS unveiled its third model, the Fusilier, marking its first venture into electric vehicles.

The Fusilier is essentially a smaller version of its predecessor, the Grenadier, and is available with both BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) options and extended range capabilities. Despite being a fully electric car, the makers of the Fusilier emphasize the potential of alternative options alongside electric vehicles.

INEOS embarked on its journey with the launch of the main Grenadier model, powered by internal combustion, in 2022. Since then, they have introduced a double-cab pickup version of the Grenadier and the Quartermaster, both powered by internal combustion engines.

However, simultaneous with these releases, INEOS announced its work on developing an electric powertrain for 4x4 vehicles, eventually leading to the launch of the Fusilier today.

During their live stream, the new INEOS electric vehicle was showcased briefly in a promotional segment, but the conversation quickly veered towards praise for traditional vehicles and the challenges of electric cars, leaving some viewers frustrated as they were expecting more information about the new INEOS electric vehicle.

Nevertheless, this criticism highlights the challenges the industry faces in transitioning to electric vehicles. However, at this time, the focus will be on the new capabilities of the Fusilier 4x4.

The automotive industry chief stated, "As we developed this vehicle, we quickly realized the need to move towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions while continuing to make cars that consumers want to drive, requiring a blend of advanced technologies that keep pace with the automotive industry's environmental needs."

The new Fusilier from INEOS is smaller in size and more dynamic than the Grenadier, maintaining a classic look and exceptional off-road capabilities, which are two fundamental pillars of the automotive branch.

The exterior design features active grille shutters to adjust airflow and increase range, along with 7-inch round LED headlights and taillights that complement other INEOS vehicles.

However, no technical details such as battery size or chemical composition were disclosed, with the discussion focusing on traditional fuels like petrol, synthetic fuels, and even hydrogen, with a nod to the fact that the car manufacturing company belongs to a major oil and gas company.

INEOS also announced that they would reveal details of alternative powertrains next fall, along with the launch date of the electric Fusilier and the commencement of sales.

INEOS Automotive is a subsidiary of Ineos Group Limited, headquartered in London, and is one of the world's largest chemical companies. The automotive branch was founded in 2017 by INEOS founder Mr. Jim Ratcliffe, who currently serves as CEO.
