Jordan Drift Championship: Round 1 Kicks Off at the Dead Sea with Wide Arab Participation

The Dead Sea Circuit in Amman is preparing to host the highly anticipated first round of the Jordan Drift Championship this coming Thursday. The qualifying heats will take place under floodlights, followed by the final round on Friday. Organized by Jordan Motorsport and sponsored by Zain Jordan, the event features a diverse lineup of 31 contestants from Jordan, Palestine, and Egypt.

Schedule and Competition Details

The event is organized over three days to ensure the highest standards of coordination:

• Wednesday: Dedicated to administrative checks, distribution of racing numbers, technical inspections of the vehicles on-site, and a briefing for drivers regarding the track layout.
• Thursday: Cars must enter by 4:00 PM. The schedule includes a track walk (5:00–6:00 PM), followed by optional practice sessions (6:00–8:00 PM). The first qualifying round starts at 8:30 PM, with the second round at 9:30 PM.
• Friday: Final entry for teams is at 4:30 PM. Optional practice runs at 5:30 PM, leading into the final elimination rounds for the Top 16, 24, or 32 drivers starting at 8:00 PM.
