Toyota Corolla Cross 2025: The Refreshed Version Captivates Attention in its First Official Appearance

Toyota has unveiled its new 2025 Corolla Cross Facelift, marking its first official appearance after its launch in Thailand.

Nearly four years after the release of the Toyota Corolla Cross, we now learn about the updates introduced in its refreshed 2025 model.

The new Toyota Corolla Cross comes with a completely different appearance, depending on the market and the trim. The Thai variant features a new front grille design resembling a "honeycomb," inspired by the luxurious design of the Lexus RX, with a hint of the luxurious Lexus TX design.

In addition to the updated front grille, the exterior design features new headlights equipped with crystal LED technology, a different front bumper, new side mirrors, updated taillights, and a new wheel design. Toyota also offers a new metallic gray paint option called Cement Gray Metallic.

Inside, the cabin remains mostly similar to the previous model but with some new modern comfort features such as a frameless panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable sunshade, and electronic parking brakes replacing the traditional handbrake.

Drivers also benefit from a new 12.3-inch TFT information display screen and a 10.1-inch entertainment information screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, the latter of which is compatible with the included wireless charger in the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross series.

There are no changes to the transmission options, with the continued use of either 1.8-liter gasoline engines or a hybrid system combining a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, available to buyers in Thailand with power sent through a CVT to the front wheels. It is unlikely that the 2.0-liter engine-equipped model will be introduced in the American market.

Prices for the improved Toyota Corolla Cross start from 999,000 Thai baht, equivalent to $27,820 USD, and according to Toyota's schedule, an enhanced version of this model is expected to appear next year.
