Based on preliminary information, the new addition to Nissan's GT-R series for 2024 has finally been unveiled, featuring comprehensive improvements while maintaining the renowned performance of this class. To appropriately reflect its power and exceptional durability, it has been dubbed the "Godzilla," a fitting name for this car.
The 2024 Godzilla GT-R has undergone several notable enhancements, including an increase in power without a corresponding increase in drag coefficient during high-speed driving. The exterior structure has been modified by reshaping curves and edges to enhance its dynamic capabilities, and a new wing has been added, somewhat resembling the wing used by the Porsche 911 GT3.
As for the engine, the 2024 GT-R comes equipped with a standard 3.8-liter V-6 twin-turbocharged engine, delivering 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system that puts all this power firmly on the road. In terms of track testing, the GT-R can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds!
There hasn't been a major overhaul of the interior of the 2024 GT-R; it retains its previous design to some extent, with minor changes in colors and an increase in interior additions that ensure entertainment and information resources.
Precise details are expected to be available by the end of this year, but it is anticipated that the 2024 Nissan GT-R will be available in three versions: "Premium," "T-Spec," and "Nismo," with prices ranging from $117,000 to $215,000.
