Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series Makes Its Middle East Debut

Mercedes-Maybach announced the arrival of the SL 680 Monogram Series to the Middle East for the first time, in a luxurious event held at La Cantine Beach on Bluewaters Island—where creativity, craftsmanship, and authentic German luxury converged. This launch offered a unique experience that reflects Maybach’s vision for the future in the region, as part of a six-week Mercedes-Maybach Design-Led Experience showcasing the full Maybach lineup, including the GLS, S-Class, and EQS SUV, with the SL 680 Monogram Series taking center stage as the star of the evening.

This two-seater convertible represents the first-ever SL model from Maybach, featuring a sporty yet refined design that blends dynamic performance with serene elegance. Every element highlights the brand’s signature handcrafted luxury.

Inside, the cabin offers two completely contrasting themes: White Ambience, which delivers a soft and serene atmosphere that harmonizes beautifully with natural light, and Red Ambience, offering boldness and unmistakable presence. The interior is adorned with MANUFAKTUR Exclusive Crystal White Nappa leather with diamond stitching inspired by the Maybach blossom and silver-chrome accents, along with over 50 available exterior colors to satisfy the owner’s unique taste.

On the exterior, the SL 680 Monogram stands out with exclusive Monogram details including a subtly illuminated grille, the iconic Mercedes star on the hood, a full-length chrome strip along the body, a Light Black fabric roof, Anthracite patterns, Rose Gold lighting elements, and an available Obsidian Black cover featuring a hand-applied Graphite Grey Uni motif—adding a cinematic artistic touch to every angle.

Performance-wise, the car delivers effortless power and smooth agility, thanks to a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 9G-TRONIC transmission and rear-axle steering. The result is exceptional stability, fluid handling, and a drive that is both calm and commanding.
