Lucid, the electric vehicle specialist, has unveiled its latest innovation in the automotive world - the first all-electric, full-wheel-drive SUV named "Lucid Gravity" for 2025. This versatile sports utility vehicle (SUV) was revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2023 on November 17, marking a qualitative shift for the company known traditionally for producing luxurious sedans.

The technical team not only focused on achieving innovation in design and performance but also carefully chose a distinctive name for the vehicle. It was named "Gravity" to reflect the splendid fusion of appealing design and latent power in performance.

This move represents a significant leap for the company, which has traditionally focused on producing luxury sedans. The new vehicle adds a robust and more competitive presence to Lucid's lineup in the luxury electric SUV category.

The name "Gravity" signifies the attractive force and exceptional performance of the vehicle. It features an air suspension system with "Zero Gravity" technology, allowing adaptation to various terrains with multiple height modes. The car relies on a powerful all-wheel-drive electric system with two electric motors, with expectations of exceeding 800 horsepower and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.

The vehicle boasts a smaller and lightweight battery with a range exceeding 700 kilometers per charge. It utilizes a new battery and charging engineering with a 900-volt system, enabling the car to recharge for a distance of 322 kilometers in just 15 minutes.

The exterior design embodies luxury and dynamism, featuring a sloping roof and a low drag coefficient, achieving an artistic feat for an SUV. Emphasis on sporty and luxurious details is evident in the bold front fascia, efficient aerodynamics, spacious rear cargo area, powerful wheels, and a sporty rear wing.

The car's dimensions are distinctive, with a length of 5,034 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,656 mm, and a wheelbase length of 3,035 mm.

Entering the interior cabin, passengers are greeted with an atmosphere of luxury and elegance. Luxurious leather seats with heating, cooling, and electric adjustment options are provided. The seven-seat version includes built-in tables in the second row, allowing passengers to work or dine comfortably.

The user interface showcases innovation and uniqueness, featuring a new interface called "Clearview Cockpit," including a curved OLED screen, vertical display, enhanced navigation system, and controls for radio, air conditioning, and speed.

Regarding pricing, the company confirmed that the Lucid Gravity 2025 will be priced at less than $80,000, with plans to offer Dream Edition models in late 2024 as an exclusive addition for 2025.
