Jordan’s Car Market: Dealers Association Reveals the Truth Behind Prices and Inventory

Amman, March 26, 2026 – The Jordanian Association of Car Dealers and Distributors issued an official statement today to provide an accurate overview of the local car market, in response to circulating misinformation and reports suggesting a potential rise in vehicle prices across the kingdom.
Availability of Inventory and Price Stability
The association confirmed that the current stock of new vehicles is ample and covers all categories and models. The available quantities are sufficient to meet domestic demand until the end of the second quarter of the year, according to current market estimates.
The association also clarified that dealer showroom prices have not changed and remain stable at their previous levels, reflecting a state of market stability and the sector’s ability to meet consumer needs without sudden increases.
Position on Import Costs
Regarding international fluctuations in shipping and insurance costs, the association emphasized that any future increases will not affect vehicles already in inventory, but will apply only to new shipments that have not yet arrived in Jordan, ensuring consumer protection and price stability.
Call for Public Awareness
The association urged all citizens interested in purchasing new vehicles to visit authorized dealer showrooms across Amman and other governorates to take advantage of current competitive offers and prices.
It also stressed the importance of verifying any market-related information through official sources, and avoiding rumors that may distort consumer perception regarding prices and vehicle availability.
