Jordan Raises Octane 90 and 95 Gasoline Prices: New Fuel Rates for November 2026

Jordan’s Fuel Pricing Committee has announced the new fuel prices for November 2026, including an increase of 30 fils per liter for Octane 90 gasoline and 15 fils per liter for Octane 95, while diesel, kerosene, and household cooking gas cylinder prices will remain unchanged.

The new prices will take effect on Sunday, November 1, 2026, following the committee’s regular meeting held on Saturday, October 31. During the meeting, the committee reviewed fuel prices throughout October and compared them with prices in previous months, amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region and their impact on global energy markets.

Fuel Prices in Jordan for November 2026

The committee decided to adjust gasoline prices while maintaining the existing prices of several other petroleum products. The new rates are as follows:

  • Octane 90 gasoline: 1,080 fils per liter, up from 1,050 fils, an increase of 30 fils.
  • Octane 95 gasoline: 1,375 fils per liter, up from 1,360 fils, an increase of 15 fils.
  • Diesel: 900 fils per liter, unchanged.
  • Kerosene: 550 fils per liter, unchanged.
  • Household LPG cylinder (12.5 kg): JD 7, unchanged.

Accordingly, the latest adjustment applies only to Octane 90 and Octane 95 gasoline, while diesel, kerosene, and household gas prices will remain at their previous levels.

Government Continues to Cover Part of Fuel Costs

The committee explained that local fuel pricing is based on the average global prices over the 30 days preceding each pricing decision. It also noted that the government continues to absorb part of the difference between actual costs and local selling prices as part of its gradual pricing policy.

According to the committee’s available data, the projected actual cost of one liter of Octane 90 gasoline reached 1,132.1 fils, compared with a local selling price of 1,080 fils. The actual cost of diesel reached 1,034.3 fils per liter, while its selling price remained at 900 fils. Meanwhile, the actual cost of kerosene reached 1,047.8 fils per liter, compared with a local price of 550 fils.

The committee also stated that the total government support and price differences absorbed since the beginning of the crisis through the end of October amounted to approximately JD 290 million, as a result of rising global petroleum costs that have not been fully reflected in local fuel prices.

JD 2.4 Million in Support for Industrial Gas

The committee also decided to maintain the price of a 12.5 kg household LPG cylinder at JD 7, while continuing to subsidize liquefied petroleum gas allocated to the industrial sector, with support reaching up to JD 2.4 million during November.

The committee emphasized that maintaining diesel and kerosene prices is part of the government’s efforts to ease financial pressures on citizens and economic sectors, particularly given the importance of these fuels to transportation, production, and heating.

The Fuel Pricing Committee will continue to monitor changes in global energy markets and assess their impact on local costs every month, making pricing decisions that balance global market developments with the need to protect consumers and economic sectors.
