The Subaru WRX TR 2024 has been officially unveiled, offering a range of distinctive improvements similar to those found in the BRZ tS model. This new car represents the top-tier version within the WRX lineup, combining sporty performance with luxury in Subaru's attractive sedan.

The new Japanese car comes equipped with the distinctive Brembo brake system, featuring six pistons in the front and two pistons in the rear. It boasts a large brake disc, as hinted at by experts last week.

Moreover, these improvements extend to the suspension system, along with an electrically adjustable steering wheel to enhance driver interaction. The car also stands out for not having a sunroof, reducing weight and increasing headroom.

The Subaru WRX TR 2024 comes with newly designed 19-inch wheels specifically tailored for the large braking system. It is fitted with Bridgestone S007 tires with a wide 245 mm width to ensure the necessary stability on the roads.

The choice of S007 tires is intriguing, as they have been well-known for a long time, although speed enthusiasts may opt for more powerful tire options according to their preferences.

It is also noteworthy that the TR version opted for 19-inch wheels, making them the largest ever installed on any factory-produced WRX vehicle.

Regarding the interior design of the Subaru WRX TR 2024, the car features high-quality design elements, blending Subaru's well-known sporty character with a modern touch. However, Recaro seats are only available in the higher GT version. The GT version comes with a CVT transmission.

Additionally, the new car combines Recaro seats with Subaru EyeSight technology for advanced driver assistance, all with a manual transmission option. This means that adaptive driving is now available with a manual gearbox, in addition to lane departure warning, vibration warning, and automatic emergency braking.

However, if you are looking for upgrades in the power generation system, you may need to search elsewhere. The Subaru WRX TR 2024 retains its 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 271 horsepower, and this applies to all-wheel-drive models as well. Power is distributed to both front and rear wheels through Subaru's active torque distribution system, which improves handling by braking the inner wheel during turns and enhances stability.

The price of the car has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be higher than the GT version, which starts at $44,415.
