Petroleum products pricing for the month of July 2026 in Jordan

The Fuel Pricing Committee at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources decided on Tuesday to freeze the prices of major petroleum products and residential gas cylinders for the upcoming month of July, keeping them at the same levels approved for the current month of June.

The decision followed the committee's regular monthly meeting to review international oil derivative prices during June and compare them with May's levels. The review indicated a relative decline in global markets during the second half of the month; however, it was insufficient to return prices to their levels prior to the current regional crisis.

Under this decision, retail fuel prices in the domestic market will remain stable starting from the first of July as follows:

• Octane 90 Gasoline: 1,000 fils per liter (1 Dinar).
• Octane 95 Gasoline: 1,310 fils per liter (1.31 Dinars).
• Diesel: 850 fils per liter.
• Kerosene: 550 fils per liter.
• Residential Gas Cylinder (12.5 kg): Frozen at 7 Dinars.

Continued Industrial Support and the Cost of Price Differentials

The committee also approved the continuation of financial support for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) allocated for the industrial sector, which will require the state treasury to bear an additional subsidy cost estimated at around 3.2 million dinars during July alone.

The committee explained that domestic prices applied over the past months did not reflect the actual costs of petroleum products. This is due to the government's adopted policy of "gradual adjustment" in reflecting global price increases, whereby it absorbed the bulk of the price differentials to ease the living and economic burdens on citizens and productive sectors.

The total value of price differentials and direct subsidies absorbed by the government from the beginning of the crisis until the end of this June reached approximately 198 million dinars, noting that this figure does not include the accumulated costs of subsidizing residential gas cylinders.

It is worth noting that the approved pricing for July reflects the average international prices of petroleum products throughout the entire month of June. The government reiterates its ongoing monitoring of global market developments to ensure appropriate decisions are taken in a manner that balances protecting the national economy and maintaining the Kingdom's financial stability.
