Jordan’s Fuel Prices for February 2026: Gasoline Prices Drop, Diesel Prices Remain Unchanged.

On Saturday, the Fuel Pricing Committee announced the new fuel price list effective for February 2026. The new rates feature significant reductions, led by kerosene, which dropped by 4 piasters (40 fils) per liter. This move follows government directives aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens during the winter season and the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

February Fuel Price Details:

  • Kerosene: Decreased to 550 fils/liter, down from 590 fils/liter.
  • Octane 90 Gasoline: Decreased by 20 fils to 810 fils/liter, down from 830 fils.
  • Octane 95 Gasoline: Decreased by 20 fils to 1035 fils/liter, down from 1055 fils.
  • Octane 98 Gasoline: Decreased by 20 fils to 1185 fils/liter, down from 1205 fils.
  • Diesel: Price remains fixed at 645 fils/liter.
  • Cooking Gas: The price for a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) remains stable at 7 JOD.

Decision Rationale: The decision was made during the committee's monthly meeting, which reviewed global oil prices for January. The review showed a global decline in gasoline prices and stability in diesel rates. The committee reflected these global trends locally, prioritizing a deeper cut for kerosene to support citizens' purchasing power as fasting coincides with the cold weather.
