The incentive system for drivers has officially come into effect as Greater Amman Municipality announced its activation through its electronic website and the Sanad app. This system which was approved by the Cabinet and published in the Official Gazette last Thursday aims to enhance traffic safety and reward committed drivers.
Key Features of the New Incentive System
- Rewarding Committed Drivers.. The system grants a 25% discount on vehicle license renewal fees and charges for any driver who completes a full year from the date of their previous registration without committing any traffic violations.
- Early Payment Discount.. Anyone who commits a traffic violation will receive a 30% discount on the fine value provided it is paid within 60 days from the date the violation was committed.
This step aims to motivate drivers to adhere to traffic rules and reduce violations while facilitating electronic payment procedures to ensure they benefit from these discounts.
