Mini has unveiled two new electric car models for 2024, announced just before the International Auto Show in Munich, Germany, which will end on September 10th.
The first model is the new Mini Countryman Electric, which comes in several variants, including the "Mini Countryman Electric" with an electric motor generating 204 horsepower and a torque of 250 Newton-meters. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. There's also the "Mini Countryman SE ALL4" with all-wheel drive, producing a total of 313 horsepower from its electric motors and a torque of 494 Newton-meters. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. Additionally, gasoline engine versions are available, including the front-wheel-drive "Mini Countryman Cooper" and the all-wheel-drive "Mini Countryman Cooper S ALL4" and "Mini Countryman JCW ALL4."
The Mini Countryman's cabin has been expanded to offer more space for passengers and features a stylish design. It boasts wider wheel arches and a modern design. The design of the "C" pillar at the rear varies depending on the model and is influenced by the color of the car's roof, which comes in four different colors. The new taillights form a frame around the rear of the car.
The second model is the new Mini Cooper Electric, available in two versions: the "Mini Cooper E" and the "Mini Cooper SE." The electric motor of the "Mini Cooper E" produces 184 horsepower and a maximum torque of 290 Newton-meters, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. Meanwhile, the electric motor of the "Mini Cooper SE" generates 218 horsepower and a maximum torque of 330 Newton-meters, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
The new Cooper Electric models offer more power and an extended range from a mechanical perspective. They feature textured surfaces, dual-tone stitching, and high-quality synthetic leather seats made from Vescin. They also come equipped with a central OLED screen and various features, including MINI Experience Modes offering seven different driving modes.
